The October issue of eBella magazine is an annual dedication to the arts, covering the seasons local events throughout southwest Florida. My task as the magazines creative design manager is to create a theme for the cover of the special issue, as well as the seven interior section covers. These videos show a part of my process in which wet paint, a spray bottle of rubbing alcohol and a torch are used to created layers of transparent texture. I once held the torch to the canvas for too long, here's the evidence...
